National My Red Thumb Day - Tuesday 23rd April 2019
The 6th National MyRedThumb Day was held on 23rd April 2019. Once again our goal was to reduce road traffic casualties by encouraging as many people as possible to stop using handheld mobile phones whilst driving. 2019's MRT day though had a special theme - #WorkOnYourDrivingNotYourPhone. This concentrated efforts on engaging with people who drive for a living and who drive to and from work and encourage them to put down their mobile devices while behind the wheel.
Bigger and better
This year we had an amazing response with people up and down the country, and internationally, showing their support for our cause. We received communications from all over the country, and even from other parts of the world, from people who are keen to pledge their support to make sure that we send a clear message that mobile phones and driving are not a good combination! Take a look at some of the images we received from around the UK and beyond here http://www.myredthumb.com/gallery-archive
